A Positive Communication Experience - The Pivovarna Union d.d.

Advertising via GEM offers possibilities of extended communication, which embraces interaction via mobile phone and a combination of GEM networks.

The Pivovarna Union d.d. - Ljubljana’s Union Brewery - campaign encompassed the Slovenian capital’s public transport system operated by LPP, the mobile portal and the city’s network of kiosks - outlets which vend inexpensive consumables, such as newspapers, drinks and confectionary. Such an approach proved to be extremely efficient.

Consumers who responded to the advertisement participated in the prize game via the mobile portal, and thus competed for 100 litres of drinks of their own choice. The first 300 participants were also rewarded with a bottle of water, which they were able to claim at their nearest kiosk.

In addition to facilitating the distribution of free-of-charge sample products, the comprehensive approach in designing the GEM campaign expands communicativeness and user interaction, as well as enhances consumer experience and brand awareness. A sales campaign involving a promotional discount is thus also possible, and by way of this one the kiosks acted as both advertising space and point of sale.
